RIAN - LIVE 2025 / 2026

What happened there? A good two years ago, RIAN was a newcomer, albeit a hotly tipped one, who attracted attention with his first songs in German. One of them - "Schwarzes Schaf " - went viral in 2023 and was a foretaste of the fact that RIAN, who also experienced his breakthrough as a successful comedy influencer, has a zeitgeisty and unapologetic mainstream compatibility.

RIAN has also found his style: He combines German-language indie pop with smart comedy and always conveys a socio-political relevance for a good cause in his output. His songs are witty gems in the tradition of KAFFKIEZ, Danger Dan, Antilopen Gang, Falco, Manu Chao or Jonathan Richman - funny and danceable from the front, deep, (self-)critical and always empathetic. The pop line from the feet to the heart to the head has rarely felt so right.

In 2024, RIAN landed a veritable hit with "Verwandtschaftstreffen" from the EP of the same name: it reached number one in the Austrian Shazam charts, the Austria Viral Charts and the Ö3-Austro charts. The song went gold in Austria and is currently aiming for platinum. With 15 million streams, RIAN has finally cemented his place in the German-language music scene, "Verwandtschaftstreffen" is on heavy rotation on the biggest radio stations, won an incredible three Amadeus Austrian Music Awards in 2025 and has become the soundtrack to fans' lives,

On the tour for the EP, the hit, but even more so his reputation as an excellent live entertainer, brought him full houses: after a completely sold-out "Verwandtschaftstreffen Tour 2025" and a tour finale in Vienna with over 3,000 fans, it is clear that RIAN has reached the next level. In AT he is recognized in the supermarket, and a fan selfie with him or "a video for the third cousin" is nothing unusual anymore.

The influx of fans and the appetite for RIAN shows is also immense in DE - all DE dates were completely sold out, including rescheduling and additional shows. RIAN has therefore announced an extensive tour for fall 2025 and spring 2026: The artist can be seen in 26 cities in Germany, Austria and Switzerland - and promises even bigger shows, even more live energy and, of course, lots of new music.

RIAN is working intensively on new songs in the run-up to the tour - and has already revealed that his debut album is expected in early 2026. His mix of pop, indie and hip-hop, paired with his cabaret interludes and profound lyrics, makes him one of the most exciting live acts of the year!
