RIDDIM DISCO / Soundsystem Session

RIDDIM DISCO celebrates the Jamaican sound of the 60s and 70s! A mix of reggae, rocksteady, roots, ska and dub will be played all night long exclusively on original 7inch records via the Mighty Tip-A-Tone sound system. Special guests this time are Stereotronic from Heidelberg, who will also be there with their own sound system. 1 room, 2 soundsystems in conference style, 30 minutes rotation, heavy vibes!

PREMIERE of the new vintage reggae soundsystem event in Munich. The host, the Mighty Tip-A-Tone Soundsystem, always invites a second guest soundsystem or an international guest DJ to Sunny Red. The event will take place at regular intervals 2-3 times a year in Munich.

The Mighty Tip-A-Tone Hi-Fi sound system was built in England in the 70s and is still in its original condition today. It is one of the very few vintage sound systems still in existence and has already been featured in the Paris exhibition "Jamaica Jamaica!" (Cité De La Musique-Philharmonie de Paris, 2017). Powered by the original Valve amps, it promises an incomparably warm sound. The crew is made up of long-standing collectors of Jamaican music from Leipzig and Munich, who play the sound classically with Selector, Mc and Operator. The previous owner and

reggae historian Jeremy Collingwood has handed over the sound system to the crew so that it can continue to bring its very special sound to the people in the future.
