#RiseForEmpathy: One Billion Rising Tanzaktion

In the organizer's words:

Waiblingen - On Friday, February 14, 2025, the Kulturhaus Schwanen will be the setting for a powerful message: One Billion Rising - the global dance campaign against violence against girls and women - will take place in Waiblingen for the first time.

At 7 pm, the motto is: dance together, show solidarity and set an example for a world with more empathy!

Violence against women and girls is unfortunately still a sad reality. One in three women worldwide is a victim of violence - be it physical, psychological or emotional. One Billion Rising wants to draw attention to this problem and encourage people around the world to act together.

#RiseForEmpathy - dancing for change:

This year, the campaign's motto is #RiseForEmpathy. Because empathy, the ability to empathize with the feelings and needs of others, is an important key in the fight against violence.

Join in and dance:

The dance event at Kulturhaus Schwanen is open to everyone! Learn the simple choreography and join us as we make a statement together. The band from the Popmusik School Fellbach will provide the right rhythm.
