RISKTAKERS is a staged reading in the New Botanical Garden Marburg - the paradise. The audience would finally have the chance to enter paradise. But something is strange. Is this the place where everyone dwells in contentment and bliss forever? Because paradise is empty. For centuries, people have been stuck in the reincarnation loop. Little by little, the audience finds out what has happened. In the process, they meet surprising characters who have their very own idea of the paradise of the future.
RISKTAKERS is an exploration of the connections between faith and capitalism in the absurd fictional setting of the botanical garden. The aim is to get to the bottom of the various historical explanations with which the promise of infinite prosperity has been and continues to be upheld.
RISKTAKERS is for anyone aged 12 and over who has lost faith in capitalism but still wants to play by its rules. For all those who fancy a trip to paradise with Sneak Peak. And for everyone who has always wanted to meet the gods.

A co-production of the New Botanical Garden Marburg, the Theater neben dem Turm Marburg (TNT) and the art allies consisting of Anne Decker, Victoria Schmidt, Eike Mathis Hackmann, Aylin Leclaire and Marina Rengel Lucena.

Directions: The New Botanical Garden in Marburg is located in Karl-von-Frisch-Straße, 35032 Marburg. The city bus lines 7, 2 and 27 go to the stop "Botanischer Garten". Please allow a time buffer for your journey.
