The two-time Grammy-nominated blues rock band from the USA in Germany in June

As support for Black Sabbath, The Rolling Stones, AC/DC and Guns N' Roses, Rival Sons have long since climbed the Olympus of rock'n'roll and inspire rock fans worldwide with their diverse influences of blues rock, hard rock, prog and alternative. Their album "Feral Roots" celebrated the biggest successes in the band's history in 2019 and was nominated for Best Rock Album and the song "Too Bad" for Best Rock Performance at the Grammy Awards. But tracks such as "Do Your Worst", which entered the US rock singles charts at number 1, "Shooting Stars", "Open My Eyes" and "Pressure And Time" are also among the band's biggest hits, building on a discography of eight albums and one EP and constantly rediscovering itself. As Visions magazine described it in its review of the album "Darkfighter", released in 2023, Rival Sons "preserve the traditions of hard rock while always looking forward". In June, the band will be coming to Dresden and Frankfurt am Main for two German concerts on their Europe / UK Tour 2025.

Formed in 2009 in Long Beach, California, Rival Sons self-released their debut album "Before The Fire" in the same year, which attracted the attention of Earache Records. The EP "Rival Sons" followed in 2010 via the label, where they remained under contract until 2018. Their next two albums "Pressure & Time" (2011) and "Head Down" (2012) put the band in the charts in Europe, before "Great Western Valkyrie" (2014) saw them enter the Billboard 200 for the first time. After the release of "Hollow Bones" (2016) and top 10 placements in Scandinavia and Switzerland, the band signed with Low Country Sound. In 2019, "Feral Roots" was released, which reached number 8 in the official album charts in Germany and earned the Rival Sons two Grammy nominations. In 2023, they released two albums: "Darkfighter" in June and "Lightbringer" in October. Similarly in 2025, when the band released their latest live album "Pair Of Aces" in two parts successively in November and December, once again demonstrating the earthy rock sound of Rival Sons in an authentic live aesthetic.
