Riverdance, the original breathtaking Irish dance art, is coming back to Germany in the fall of 2024! Due to the overwhelming enthusiasm of the audience this year, the tap dancing virtuosos of Riverdance will also bring the stages all over Germany to tremble in 2024. On 11.12.2024 you can admire the dance show live in the LANXESS arena.

This year, Riverdance celebrated its 25th anniversary, earned standing ovations and - once again! - took the hearts of the audience by storm. To date, the successful ensemble has enchanted over 30 million people around the world with its brilliant show. A quarter of a century ago, the international career of this unique formation from Ireland began and since then they have set standards worldwide for unsurpassed tap dancing. In November and December 2024, the legendary Irish dance show will come live to Germany. In a total of 21 cities, Riverdance fans can look forward to pure tap dance passion: In addition to the masterful skills of the dancers, whose fast-paced taps are so fast that the naked eye cannot follow them, the show impresses with spectacular lighting technology, LED walls, a fantastic stage and costume design and last but not least: with first-class live music.

The show movingly tells of the multi-faceted fate of the Irish people: of emigration, farewell, departure and homecoming. Riverdance also shows the interaction and clash of different cultures . With consummate body control and at breakneck speed, the dancers present a spectacular performance of Irish passion and international dance styles such as flamenco, breakdance and Russian folklore. The live traditional music, for whose composition by Bill Whelan Riverdance even received a Grammy in 1997, is characterized by depth, longing, but also hope and confidence. The original soundtrack has been rearranged by Bill Whelan for the 25th anniversary, bringing the familiar, mesmerizing Riverdance music into the present day. The dancers bring the history and culture of Ireland to life with synchronized dance perfection and gorgeous costumes!
