Riviera Commons: Building your own sawtooth organ together

In the second Riviera Commons workshop, musical instruments will be built at SCAPE° from 4 to 8 pm. Under the guidance of Lui Matthes and Florence von der Weth, interested people aged 13 and over can learn about the components and function of a sawtooth organ, solder the parts onto a circuit board and make their own musical instrument. The sawtooth organ has its own loudspeaker and is powered by a 9V battery block. The small organ is ideal for understanding how synthetic sounds are produced and which components are responsible for pitch and volume. With the simplest of tools, you can see what is needed to play melodies on a synthesizer. Building an instrument yourself has rarely been so easy!

Under the title "Riviera Commons", the Riviera Festival for Pop and Club Culture organizes monthly network meetings, workshops and concerts for the music scene and all interested parties.
