Rock im Garten - the open air for live music fans! On the grounds of the Hirschgarten leisure center in -Neuhausen. Live bands, hard sound, honest lyrics - festival atmosphere in the middle of the city.
A small Neuhausen summer classic returns: a stage for Munich's rock scene. At the "Rock im Garten" open air festival near Steubenplatz, subcultural energy meets a family atmosphere. For over 15 years, the small, fine band festival has stood for handmade music, local up-and-coming talent and honest rock culture - open air, loud, passionate and with a lot of heart. Visitors can expect a varied line-up of rock, punk, grunge, cover hits and alternative.

Call It A Wasteland; is rock music. Straight, catchy, catchy. With a strong influence of grunge combined with infectious riffs and beats, the band has developed a style all of its own. One woman at the front, two men at the side and the three instruments that the world really needs. The characters are different, but the result harmonizes. Unpunked: Punk rock without electricity? Is that even possible? Unpunked shows what it can sound like when snotty anthems by Talkinghead, Ramones or the fehlfarben meet cajon, acoustic guitar and vocals - and suddenly unfold a completely new energy. With a minimalist line-up, a lot of joy in playing and a wink, unpunked brings the rebellious spirit of the 80s and 90s to small stages, living rooms, street festivals or alternative clubs. Ölf: stands for honest, handmade, self-composed rock music with German lyrics; heart and soul, rough poetry, emotion, life experience and unbridled energy

Quality Chaos: Formed in the Munich jam scene, matured in an old shipping container on the outskirts of the city: this is Quality Chaos. The young band is dedicated to hard rock, but also likes to venture into metal and progressive music - always driven by the question: why have one lead guitarist when you can have two? All the band members are said to be a little busy. But on stage they passionately deliver quality work 'Made in Bavaria'.

Spilled Milk: is the answer to the longing for authentic alternative rock. At their energetic concerts, the quartet creates an atmosphere that is honest and unadulterated. Since their formation in early 2023, SpilledMilk have released 3 singles, with 3 more to be released in 2025. Their music is a reflection of our times: sometimes raw and rebellious, sometimes sensitive and thoughtful. Because: "we're not the band that cries over spilled milk;we're the ones who turn it into music."

SC Jam: When cables get tangled, amps start up and the first riffs creak through the garden, it's clear: SC Jam is at the start. For this one performance, musicians from the Freizeitstätte's two house bands have agreed to open the open air - not for fame or the limelight, but to rock the garden before the musical buffet is opened. More session than setlist, more jam than show - SC Jam is the relaxed, loud prelude to a great evening. Metal, covers and chaos - exactly what a good soundcheck needs.
