With their interesting mix of hits and songs from the 60s, 70s and 80s, ROCKINGHAM is now probably one of the most versatile cover bands in northern Hesse.
From EAGLES, ROLLING STONES, BEATLES, BRIAN ADAMS to SEARCHERS,
from CCR to STATUS QUO to SMOKIE...
Thanks to the three different solo voices, the band is in the fortunate position of
different styles of music. The band also surprises the audience with songs that are immediately memorable and that almost no other band has in its repertoire.
From rock, pop, beat and rock'n'roll to country and A-CAPELLA.
So, for all those who love more than just hits and songs from the last decades
and would like to experience should not miss Rockingham.
Members in detail:
Oliver Müller (bass, vocals): Together with the drums, he provides the right groove and is vocally an important factor for the background choir.
Jörg Krell (solo guitar, vocals): Mick Taylor, Eric Clapton, Brian Setzer and Scotty Moore are some of his musical role models...
Thomas Klode (guitar, vocals): The singing and guitar-playing "many-stringer" in the band...whether acoustic guitar, 12-string or normal electric guitar, he gives the songs the right sound.
Dirk Klevenow (drums, vocals): With such honorable tasks as having been on stage with Little Richard, Bill Haley, Emmylou Harris and Olli Dittrich, he is the longest-serving musician in ROCKINGHAM.
