Most people know Roland Jankowsky as the somewhat peculiar Inspector Overbeck from the cult crime series Wilsberg. In this starring role, the "Dirty Harry of Münster" was voted "Germany's coolest inspector" by TV viewers in 2018. But Roland Jankowsky has many talents. Whether as an actor on TV or in the theater, as a singer or as an audio book narrator - his comedic potential is unmistakably his trademark.

In his crime story reading "Wenn Overbeck kommt ..." he can fully exploit this trademark and his talents. In the "criminal" short stories he presents, he creates local color through the appropriate dialects and plays and embodies the protagonists of the stories so vividly that the audience can almost see them in front of them.

There is never a shortage of humor, because not every bullet that hits the target hits the right person. This makes each of Jankowsky's readings a tongue-in-cheek and hugely entertaining experience for any crime fiction fan.
