Two pianists, four hands, one shared conviction:

Music gives children a voice - even in places where their voices are often silenced by poverty.

Between 1975 and 1979, the Khmer Rouge regime deliberately murdered intellectuals, artists and teachers.

To this day, there is a lack of instruments, structures and trained staff, meaning that many schools are unable to offer music lessons.

Against this backdrop and in support of equal opportunities for music education worldwide, this evening will feature piano music for four hands by Bach, Fauré, Schumann and Schubert - a journey from baroque clarity to romantic depth and an invitation to build a bridge between abundance and scarcity, between access and participation, between education and hope.

All proceeds will be donated for lessons, scholarships, instruments and the training of new teachers for children and young people in Cambodia.
