"Romeo and Juliet is Shakespeare's most popular great tragedy. It is certainly a play about great love. But it is also about great hatred and misunderstandings, not only between the Montague and Capulet families, but also between two generations of adults and young people. Together with director Julia Erusova ("Autsch!", "Ach so!", "MOWGLI"), the #theater11bremen theater team decided to explore precisely this topic - the conflict between the generations. If the adults had given the children more attention, love and freedom, perhaps the tragedy would not have happened. This is still relevant today. The problem of the relationship between "fathers and children" never gets old. Unfortunately...
