What does it mean to have roots - and how do they move on? Roots in Motion is an exhibition of young African and Afro-diasporic artists - they deal with their roots, show personal perspectives on origin, migration and identity and express them with a variety of artistic means.

We cordially invite you to the festive opening - with a varied program of art, music, exchange and surprises:
You can look forward to live performances, secret acts, delicious food and drinks - and the opportunity to talk to the exhibiting artists*.

Experience interdisciplinary works from fields such as visual art, tech art, text, fashion, photography and music - and discover how differently and vividly origin and identity can be negotiated artistically.

Roots in Motion is more than an exhibition - it is a space for exchange, visibility and community.
