The term "fascism" is back in political discourse - as an analytical tool and warning signal. Mario Candeias ("Understanding monsters") speaks of a current "fascization" of politics. But how can fascism be defined theoretically? What distinguishes current developments from historical predecessors - and what remains the same? The journalist Magdalena Berger, who analyzes the situation in Austria, the historian and political scientist Mathias Wörsching ("Faschismustheorien. Überblick und Einführung"), who gives an overview of classical and more recent fascism theories, and Mario Candeias from the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation will discuss this.
