MACCORMAC writes his songs the way he speaks: openly, honestly and sometimes a little too much. Having grown up playing bass on the stages of the North Hessian metropolitan region, he has also been playing his own songs since 2017. First with just a guitar and loop station, now with a full band. Together, they roam the country's small venues with their German indie rock and are on a quest - for those who have moved away, the last conversations of a long evening, the feeling of being in love and always for themselves
LAUNE - The alternative rock band LAUNE from Hanover focuses on clear statements - both musically and lyrically. What once began as a solo project in the studio has now developed into a powerful live trio. On stage, powerful riffs meet honest lyrics, driving rhythms meet catchy melodies - carried by a contemporary sound that openly shows its roots.
Influenced by acts such as Queens of the Stone Age, Biffy Clyro and KADAVAR, LAUNE manage the feat of rethinking familiar elements. The result is a modern sound world without frills that convinces with character.
