Sons of Arrakis combine desert-hot stoner rock with sci-fi vibes à la Dune - epic, hypnotic and heavy. Inspired by Frank Herbert's Dune, the band describes itself as "Melange Rock" or "Cinematographic Sci Fi Rock". Stylistically, they combine heavy, psychedelic riffs with a futuristic, desert-like sound reminiscent of QOTSA, Black Sabbath or King Buffalo.

Founded in 2019, the band from Montréal has since established itself more and more in the stoner rock scene. Their debut Volume I was released in July 2022 and immediately climbed to number 1 in the doom charts. Volume II followed in June 2024 with singles such as "Scattering" and "High Handed Enemy". On the latter song, they shine with an interplay of slide guitar, calm verses and explosive, harmonized choruses. A song that confirms their constant musical development.
