Zainab Lax (harp) is a versatile multi-instrumentalist and music therapist from Germany. She has been playing the harp since the age of seven and later expanded her musical journey to include oriental instruments such as the Indian sarod and the Persian tar. With roots in Germany, Turkey, Afghanistan and Turkmenistan, she uses music as a means of self-discovery and empowerment, especially for people who have experienced flight.
Areezo Rezvani (santur) from Iran began playing the Persian dulcimer santur at the age of 18. She was named "Talent of the Year" in Isfahan in 2006. She studied Persian music in Iran. In 2019/2020, she successfully completed a certificate course in music education at the Landesmusikakademie NRW in Heek. She leads a Persian choir. Today she inspires audiences all over Europe with her expressive playing on the santoor.
