Adventure, an island full of danger, a battle, victory, honor - everything a good story needs can be found in Shakespeare's "The Tempest". It becomes a special adventure journey when music by Sibelius and the sign language poetry of our artistic guest bring the protagonists to life. Together with the Rundfunk-Sinfonieorchester Berlin, sign language poet Jan Sell will take hearing and deaf people alike on a journey to discover the fate of Prospero and his daughter Miranda from a completely new perspective!
The concert format "Concert for All" was awarded the Innovation Prize of the German Orchestra Foundation 2024.
In the inclusive "Concert for All" format, the RSB creates offers that enable participation for people with disabilities. In addition to concerts in the Haus des Rundfunks, which the RSB organizes in collaboration with artists with disabilities and experts in inclusive music education, the format also includes workshops with RSB musicians to accompany concerts.
