"Of money and greed" - Music about the value of things
Music and money - relationship status: "It's complicated"
The central role of money in the music business has been obvious even before the recent budget cuts in Berlin. The church, aristocratic or bourgeois patrons, public funding or commercial institutions: Who gives you the money to be able to devote yourself entirely to your art (and above all how much!) - this is an unavoidable question for all musicians over the last few centuries.
Lounge comeback
The first RundfunkchorLounge after a one-year break explores not only the history of money but also numerous examples from the history of music from the Baroque to the Beatles that are well worth listening to. We warmly welcome you back to the familiar and cozy atmosphere of Heimathafen Neukölln. The Rundfunkchor Berlin, conducted by Gijs Leenaars and co-directed by Justus Barleben, will provide the music to accompany the theme. A moderator will guide you through the evening.
