Since September 2024, the lettering installation "no longer to be seen" on Columbiadamm has commemorated the former Columbia House - an early Nazi concentration camp and Gestapo prison.

The guided tour begins at the CHECK-IN visitor center and leads to the memorial by Georg Seibert (1994). It focuses on the history of the site, the architectural and topographical traces and the two memorials from 1994 and 2024, addressing questions such as: What role did Columbia House play in the system of early Nazi terror? Who were the prisoners? And why was the site forgotten for so long? The tour will be led by Martin Bennis, the architect and designer of the new memorial.

Martin Bennis is an architect and is known for his work on places of remembrance and contemporary historical exhibitions - including the redesign of the Death March memorial in the Below Forest (2010) and the permanent exhibition at the Berlin Wall Documentation Center (2014), which he realized together with ON Architektur and the graphic design firm Weidner Händle Atelier.
