Making music with friends

She is a brilliant soloist, but the passionate chamber musician prefers to perform on stage with her musician friends: at the end of the season of our Michel concerts, Sabine Meyer has invited violist Nils Mönkemeyer and bassoonist Dag Jensen, two absolute masters of their craft, to perform with her and the St. Michaelis ensembles and give us an extraordinary sound experience. The clarinet, viola and bassoon are without question three instruments that are rarely in the limelight. And yet, with their warm sound, they can develop a very special inner radiance, which is wonderfully accentuated in the selected works by Weber, Strauss and Vaughan Williams.
