Argentina, 1930: Antoine de Saint-Exupéry is a pilot for the French airmail service and flies alongside the legendary airline captain Henri Guillaumet. In search of ever shorter flight routes through the Andes, Guillaumet ventures a dangerous passage and crashes in the middle of the icy mountains. With the help of Guillaumet's wife Noëlle, Saint-Exupéry embarks on a dangerous search for his friend.
