Nothing was unthinkable, everything was tried out - this is how the Italian Renaissance stands at the beginning of modern Europe. The Renaissance expert, poet and translator Tobi Roth takes us right into the middle of the crazy, innovative, colorful life of the three cities of Naples, Florence and Rome. We will listen to excerpts from the books on the "World of the Renaissance", read by Sofie Gross and Frederic Böhle, and immerse ourselves with all our senses in poetry and prose, art and culture, in low everyday worries and high culinary art.
