The concept of freedom of expression is hotly contested. There are debates about "cancel culture", the question of whether right-wingers and populists should be allowed to have their say in the media and much, much more.

Even though most of us consider freedom of expression to be extremely important, hardly anyone argues that there should be no limit to what can be said. But where exactly is this limit?

In this moderated, experimental discussion, we want to ask ourselves how things should be:
What would be a fair and healthy way for us to deal with this topic? How do we as a society decide which statements we tolerate and which we do not? Is this exclusively the task of politics and the judiciary or should individuals, the media and organizations also negotiate what can be said in social discourse?
