Singing saws, burning bows and musical parforcerides in ludicrous perfection: the night will certainly not be quiet when Salut Salon invite you to a Christmas concert! For 20 years now, the quartet from Hamburg has been captivating a steadily growing fan community around the globe, including classical music enthusiasts as well as people who wouldn't normally set foot in a concert hall. Virtuosity, wit and poetry - Angelika Bachmann (violin), Alvina Lahyani (violin), Mara Kochendörfer (cello) and Kristiina Rokashevich (piano) now conjure up a whole sleigh full of sounding gems in their Christmas program: Christmas music from all corners of the world meets classical, chanson and film music, works by Vivaldi, Dvořák and Piazzolla - and above all: unbridled, even holy joy of playing. Hallelujah - what a treat.
