In a picturesque mountain village, the headstrong confectioner Mr. Panagiotis is forced to secretly take in little Fani. His two grandchildren and their friend soon discover her hiding place. Together they form the "Gang of Five". Between reality and fantasy, they experience magical adventures. But keeping the secret becomes increasingly difficult as they have to deceive the whole village. After surprising twists and challenges, the truth is finally revealed and the "Gang of Five" must face the consequences of their actions.
