Sascha im Quadrat has been held in the Capitol Mannheim casino since 2012. As has been customary for over a decade, Sascha Kleinophorst, Sascha Krebs, Frank Schäffer and Christof Brill will invite a musical guest once a month in 2025. They will play whatever is fun. Unique cover versions of well-known songs meet incomparable humor.

The series has now achieved cult status - not least because of the ROCKTzuHAUSE streams during the two lockdowns.

Guest in April: Manuel Lothschütz
Manuel Lothschütz discovered his love of music and singing at an early age. Born in Kusel in 1979, he initially took instrumental lessons in keyboard and piano and later also singing lessons with renowned singing teachers and voice coaches in the Saarpfalz region. In 2000, he began studying musicology and pedagogy at the Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz, which he completed as a speech, voice and behavioral pedagogue. Since December 2007, he has held the "vocal pedagogy certificate" under the auspices of the BDG (Association of German Vocal Pedagogues in Berlin). From January 2007 to March 2012 he worked as a singing teacher at the Modern Music School in Kaiserslautern, and since 2011 as a certified special school teacher in Idar-Oberstein. On 01.08.2020, he took over the management of the Bodelschwingh School in Meisenheim (SFGM) as a special school principal. In recent years, Manuel Lothschütz has made a name for himself as a frontman, guest singer and keyboardist in various bands across the region.
In the field of musicals, he has already gained a lot of experience in the extra choir of the Pfalztheater Kaiserslautern and has appeared on stage in "Abydos", "Ludus Danielis" and "Hair", among others.
He has already appeared as a soloist at the Pfalztheater in the musical productions "Christ0" and "The King and I". He also took part in the Mayen Castle Festival as Simon in "Jesus Christ Superstar".

Who are the Saschas?
Sascha Kleinophorst has toured with many rock bands, including as frontman of the Brass Machine all over Germany and several appearances at the legendary jazz festival in Montreux. Like his partner in crime Sascha Krebs, he is also a long-standing member of the Capitol Ensemble with a large fan base. The fact that "little Sascha", as Sascha Krebs is also affectionately known, rocks just as much in an intimate setting as he does on the big stages with his band "The Queen Kings" is part of the success of Sascha im Quadrat.
They are congenially accompanied by Frank Schäffer on piano and Christof Brill on guitar! We at Capitol love our boys!
