Sascha im Quadrat

Sascha im Quadrat has been held in the Capitol Mannheim casino since 2012. As has been customary for over a decade, Sascha Kleinophorst, Sascha Krebs, Frank Schäffer and Christof Brill will invite a musical guest once a month in 2025. They will play whatever is fun. Unique cover versions of well-known songs meet incomparable humor.

The series has now achieved cult status - not least because of the ROCKTzuHAUSE streams during the two lockdowns.

Once a month, changing guests and always in a good mood!

Guest in May: Birgit Widmann
Birgit Widmann completed her diploma as a musical performer in 2016 with excellent results. This was followed by engagements at Theater Liberi and on the AIDA cruise ship. In 2018, she took on the leading role of Ariel Moore in the European tour of "Footloose the Musical". In 2019 Birgit was part of the ensemble of "My Fair Lady", which was performed as part of the ELBPHILHARMONIE's New Year's Eve gala in HAMBURG. With her solo show "One moment in time -A tribute to Whitney Houston" she thrilled the guests of AIDA Cruises on the seas of this world as a guest artist. This was followed in summer 2021 by an engagement at the "Freilichtspiele Tecklenburg", where she appeared on stage as "Sister Mary Lichter" in the play "Sister Act" and as part of the ensemble in "The Visit of the Old Lady". Most recently, Birgit was seen in one of the leading roles in the world premiere of "Ein Lied kann eine Brücke sein" - the Joy Fleming musical, as part of the BUGA 2023 in Mannheim.
She is currently playing the role of Alice Beineke in the touring production of "Addams Family - the Musical".

Who are the Saschas?
Sascha Kleinophorst has performed with many rock bands, including as frontman of Brass Machine all over Germany and several times at the legendary jazz festival in Montreux. Like his partner in crime Sascha Krebs, he is also a long-standing member of the Capitol Ensemble with a large fan base. The fact that "little Sascha", as Sascha Krebs is also affectionately known, rocks just as much in an intimate setting as he does on the big stages with his band "The Queen Kings" is part of the success of Sascha im Quadrat.
They are congenially accompanied by Frank Schäffer on piano and Christof Brill on guitar! We at Capitol love our boys!
