The facts are clear: the tipping point has been passed, global warming is palpable, the earth is making humanity feel the overexploitation it has been subjected to for thousands of years. The members of the Church of Self-Dissolution are coming together in a final joint ritual to renounce humanity as the "crown of creation" and prepare for its end: Abolish humanity now!

The starting point is the philosophy of antinatalism, which postulates that humanity should no longer reproduce. ANALOG examines this radical approach for its suitability in terms of saving the world - as immersive music theater. Processions are held, rituals are established, the disappearance of humanity is celebrated in a big party. Anger, disbelief and despair at the approaching, irrevocable end are welcomed and processed together. At the end, it is easy to say goodbye.

The music is at the center of this production and creates a brilliant overall event with an ecstatic effect!

ANALOG
The Cologne-based theater and performance group ANALOG has been realizing interdisciplinary political and poetic theater, film and performance projects for 20 years, which are developed with the ensemble in front of and on stage in collective authorship. Their productions also attract attention beyond national borders and internationally.
