Of course, the Dresden reading stage Sax Royal will once again be taking to the GrooveStation stage with a brand new program in April, the month of jokes. The audience can look forward to funny stories about the impositions of life, but also to satirical pamphlets against the absurd world order and poetic play with sense and nonsense. The Berlin author Michael Bittner, the storyteller and poet Roman Israel from Leipzig, the Erzgebirge chronicler and Neustadt bar philosopher Max Rademann and the beastly good poet Gesine Schäfer, who may also bring her cello with her again, will be taking part.
As every month, Sax Royal fans can also look forward to a star guest. This time it's Meikel Neid. Meikel is an intellectual redneck. An uncouth smart aleck. A pumped-up pedant. He was born in East Berlin before the fall of the Wall. He can draw, write and read, has a child, two bicycles, a good dose of gallows humor, hundreds of records and lives in the north of Berlin.
