Scala & Kolacny Brothers - Gloaming

After long days, the evening sun sends its enchanting colors and long shadows ahead. It is this incomparable mood that Scala's music also evokes in the listener. In recent years, Scala's works have been used in many different Hollywood productions. A successful concept - the combination of gripping images with Scala's typical sound always releases unique emotions in the listener. It is precisely this effect that is also achieved in their infamous live performances.

With "GLOAMING", the Kolacny brothers have put together the absolute highlights of their Hollywood repertoire. Experience an evening full of emotion and goosebumps. SCALA is an all-female choir that records and performs popular rock/metal, hip-hop/dance and pop songs in a classical arrangement.

The choir is conducted by Stijn Kolacny, while the piano accompaniment and song arrangements are by Steven Kolacny.

In the past, the cover songs in particular have repeatedly made major appearances in various trailers for Oscar-nominated films such as "Zero Dark Thirty" or "The Social Network", as well as in a whole series of well-known series such as Sex Education, Downton Abbey, The Simpsons, Sons Of Anarchy, Homeland, Desperate Housewives, Lucifer and Nikita. Most recently, the cover of "Smells like teen spirit" was featured in the highly acclaimed series "Kurt Cobain - Montage of Heck", as well as the cover of Alanis Morisette's "You Ought To Know" in the documentary for her album "Jagged Little Pill".

SCALA & Kolacny Brothers have recorded over 250 songs in various languages that are available for licensing and synchronization purposes. Occasionally, Scala also takes on specific commissions for these occasions.
