The three friends Jamila (9), Rachel (11) and Faseeha (12) are part of the Sisterqueens rap project in Berlin's Wedding district. Under the guidance of established female rappers, they learn to celebrate themselves, question social norms and denounce injustice. The observational documentary accompanies the three girls over several years as they take their first steps as young, self-confident artists who, not least, defy gender stereotypes in rap.

Clara Stella Hüneke's graduation film at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg provides a deep insight into a project over several years, the importance of which cannot be emphasized enough.

The rap project SISTERQUEENS is a feminist project by the Peira collective in cooperation with various female rappers, MA¨DEA and other girls' centers in Berlin.
