Paving the way for a new society:
A city, an era is always shaped by people. To this day, the contribution of women often receives (too) little attention. The exhibition honors the achievements of women in the post-war situation in Munich using the example of ten female politicians, cultural workers, displaced persons and those persecuted by the Nazi regime.

In May 1945, the end of the Second World War set a new course in politics and society that still influences the way we live together today. The program "1945-2025 Zero Hour? How we became what we are." of the Munich Cultural Department would like to commemorate this with an extensive program of events.
