Picari Frentani - traditional music from Italy
For many years, the musicians of "Picari Frentani" have been guests of the Freibeutern at the Schlachte-Zauber to bring Italian sunshine into the hearts of the visitors.
The four musicians have traveled from Lanciano, on the edge of Abruzzo in central Italy. In Italy, sheep herders traditionally come down from the mountains in the run-up to Christmas and play zampogna and ciamarella on their instruments in the towns. The musicians of Picari Frentani follow this historical tradition of the "Zamognieri" and play folk tunes from the Middle Ages to the present day.
For a concert in the ship's bar on board the MS Aventura on 28.11., the group will be guests on the ship for an evening and will introduce the historical folk culture of Italy.
A contemplative evening in illustrious company - because some of the buccaneers of the Fogelvreien will also be boarding the ship - with fine drinks and cheerful music awaits you. Look forward to lively tarantellas and contemplative songs from the Advent season in a historical setting.
The coaster Aventura can be found at Schlachteanleger 5, just behind the Brill, of course on the Weser.
Free admission, a hat will be passed around for the artists.
You can secure your place on board by booking in advance on 0421-43 166 83.
