Schlaugust im August - Das spannende Quiz mit eavo im Starken August

In the organizer's words:

Hey, my name is eavo and I'd like to invite you to my quiz at Starker August in Prenzlauer Berg. It's called Schlaugust and is designed for teams. You can expect an exciting evening in which, in addition to the competitive element, the entertainment aspect will be at the forefront and hopefully you'll leave with a few more exciting stories than you came in with.

You can look forward to colorful questions on curious and interesting topics from all kinds of areas, for example current affairs, the animal kingdom, the Internet, society, (pop) culture, literature, cinema or even science, history and geography. And to be honest: I don't ask many sports and gossip questions, but they can happen.

My questions are written for teams and therefore not always easy, but you can also work out many of the answers. I often offer a second solution. And if the answer is not completely wrong, I am happy to award half the points.

Urgent recommendation: Reserve a table at eavo@eavo.de. Please state your team name and team size and make your reservation half an hour before the quiz starts. Of course you can also come by at random.

About the procedure:
- We play in teams with a maximum of six players. For reasons of fairness, I will deduct three points as a penalty for each excess person.
- There are ten categories in total. Seven of them consist of six reading questions each (two points each). In the two evaluation breaks, you will each have to deal with twelve picture questions (one point each). At the end of the second round, there is also an audio category with twelve recordings (also one point each). In total, we will play 78 questions, for which you can earn 120 points.
- Please do not use cell phones or similar devices, otherwise it won't be any fun.
- The prizes are food vouchers.
- Participation fee: €4 per person.
- Duration: approx. three to three and a half hours.
- Level of difficulty: approx. 7/10.

Note: We play the same questions as the next day at the Quizzyfass in Sissyfass in Neukölln. So please don't go to both quizzes.
