They are currently one of the hottest bands on the club scene in the metropolis on the Bosporus and create their very own rousing style by fusing traditional Anatolian and Thracian music with jazz, funk, electro and Balkan sounds. The band calls it "progressive wedding music", a wild and lively celebration where everything is focused on the dance floor. There's no need for a bride and groom - "Nobody's Wedding Party"! For the musicians of Kolektif İstanbul, progressive also means that they know no boundaries and are open to musical influences of all kinds.
