Get creative, rethink materials and design your own earrings - that's exactly what our upcycling workshop is all about! Old bicycle inner tubes, fabric remnants, beads and more are used to create individual pieces of jewelry that are guaranteed not to be off-the-peg.

Why is this more than just crafting? Because jewelry is often made from raw materials such as gold and silver - the mining of which is associated with environmental destruction, exploitative working conditions and human rights violations worldwide. In a short input, you will find out what exactly is behind this - and why upcycling can be a real alternative.

We will show you an alternative: upcycling as a creative practice that conserves resources, opens up new perspectives - and is simply fun. Come along and design your own earrings with attitude!
