Enameling is one of the oldest artistic craft techniques for melting paint onto metal. The term 'enamel' comes from the French and loosely translates as "enamel".

In this course, you will experience the many possibilities offered by this colorful material. At a temperature between 750°C - 850°C, the previously applied enamel powder melts, creating a smooth, shiny and durable surface. Jewelry designer Danni Schwaag will introduce you to various techniques that offer a wide range of design options. Among other things, you will learn about powdering, painting and drawing with and on enamel.
Surprising effects are created, which then become clearly visible after the colors have been fused.
The focus is on experimentation and free design with this exciting material.

Enameling is first done on sheet copper.
This can be used to create pictures, jewelry or small objects.
