Have you always wanted to have your own puppet but never liked the cliché puppet? This workshop not only offers you the opportunity to make your own hand puppet, but also to develop and design it entirely according to your own ideas. Participants can pursue their own individual ideas and all projects are supervised individually by the course instructor. Together, the group will receive an introduction to the technique of hand carving, the tools and a foundation in materials science. Knowledge of three-dimensional composition and surface design will also be taught. We will delve deeper into working with form and volume. Final coloring and supplementing with other materials is possible. Wood, paints and tools will be provided, so you only need to bring some work clothes. If you like, you can also bring your own materials and tools.
