"Ho Ho Ho" (Santa Claus) - Every year again: the celebration of love! In the midst of the hustle and bustle of the festive season, we find ourselves back in the family home of Belinda and her husband Neville. Like crazy, everyone is trying to present themselves at their best - an impossible task. It's not just the Christmas tree that is shaken. A veritable family quarrel ensues, including simmering sibling rivalry, crumbling marriages and shattered dreams. Even Santa Claus is in danger. British playwright Sir Alan Ayckbourn has created a comedy that has been a classic of cultivated middle-class entertainment and self-reflection for forty years now. Alize Zandwijk, who most recently dealt with intergenerational conflicts and stories in a touching and poetic way and delighted Bremen audiences with "Das achte Leben (Für Brilka)" (The Eighth Life (For Brilka)), takes a lusty look at the abysses of Christmas family celebrations.
