SCHREIB-BAR – Düsseldorf erleben. Kreativwerkstatt in den Sommerferien für jugendliche Seiteneinsteiger in die deutsche Sprache

In the organizer's words:

Summer vacation workshop: from July 14 - 17, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Ideas for stories and poems can be found everywhere in our city, including in the library, the museum and, of course, in our heads. Together we want to discover new things with open eyes, camera and pen and be inspired to write creative texts.

With writing games and various excursions through the city, we will collect impressions and words to create our own "scrapbooks" - old books with a new inner life. The writing workshop is aimed at young people between the ages of 11 and 16 who want to learn the German language and engage creatively with their city of Düsseldorf. At the end of the week, we will present our results at a small closing ceremony in the Central Library.

Venue: Literaturbüro NRW in KAP 1 / Zentralbibliothek der Stadtbüchereien Düsseldorf, Konrad-Adenauer-Platz 1, 40210 Düsseldorf (near the main railway station), 2nd floor
