Poetry slam workshop for beginners and advanced participants

You can think, discuss and philosophize about democracy and social cohesion. You can write specialist texts and prose, paint pictures, make collages or write slam poetry. We have already tried out many of these things together in the GESELLSCHAFTSRAUM, but slam poetry has been missing - until now. This summer, we are offering our first poetry slam workshop and would like to reflect with you on what democracy means to us personally: What do you want? What are you afraid of? What gives you courage?

Poetry slamer Meike Harms will provide input and support as part of an evening workshop: she will guide you in trying out slam poetry on the topic of democracy. This will give you space and time to give free rein to your thoughts and texts.

No previous knowledge or experience of slam poetry is required to take part.
