A comedy freely adapted from Anton Chekhov - From the Russian by Werner Buhss

An old actor wakes up on stage at night. Apparently he has been forgotten there after a performance. He looks into the black hole of the deserted auditorium and back into his life. An old prompter appears. Due to the circumstances of her life outside, the theater has become her refuge for some time now. Now the unlikely couple will live through the night together. In their fight against loneliness and their fears, they argue, play and laugh. Along the way, they work through both their lives and encourage each other.
