SCHWARZE SCHWÄNE

In the organizer's words:

by Christina Kettering

How do we want to grow old in the future? And what role will the use of artificial intelligence play in this? The current production by the ensemble DéJE-vu at "bib International College", Hauptstraße 2 in Bergisch Gladbach, gets to the bottom of these questions. An evening between absurd comedy and deep tragedy, which already provided our audience with plenty of enthusiasm and food for thought in the fall!

Two sisters are faced with the challenge of caring for their sick mother. The younger sister has her house renovated to suit her age and takes her mother in. After a short time, she struggles to cope. The older mother has an idea: she gets a humanoid care robot called Rosie to make everyday life easier for her sister and mother. The family quickly feels relieved, but this gradually turns into jealousy and resentment as Rosie takes up more and more space. A catastrophe ensues.
