Lido owner and non-swimmer Kalle Witzkowski is expecting an onslaught at the Plötzensee lido. The veteran from Wedding with a sympathetic speech impediment ensures law and order on the shore with his "Plötzwatch". Kalle's son, the somewhat simple-minded girl crush Ricky, the beautiful influencer Lissi and the gender-fluid bookworm Moni can hardly wait to spend the hot summer at the lake. But one morning, they are all horrified to discover that the water has disappeared! The Plötzensee is dry. How did this happen? Has climate change finally reached Wedding? What is the story behind the mysterious legend of Plötzensee? And what does Elon Musk have to do with all this? The lido is becoming a hotspot.
