Science Slam in Köln im November 2025

Science Slam at Building 9 in Cologne

In November, the doors of Gebäude 9 will once again open for an evening full of science, wit and wow moments!
At the Science Slam, young scientists present their research live on stage - entertaining, understandable and with plenty of creativity.

Whether neuroscience, medicine or sociology: the topics could hardly be more diverse. The slammers tell their stories in just ten minutes - with live experiments, audience activities and sometimes even musical interludes.

And best of all: the choice is yours! The audience uses scoreboards to determine who takes home the title of Slammy of the Evening.

The Science Slam is a unique platform that gives scientists from all disciplines the opportunity to present their research to a wide audience. If you can imagine taking part in a Science Slam, please contact us at julia@scienceslam.de.

The location is partially seated. If you need a seat for urgent reasons (severe disability, leg in plaster, pregnancy ...), please contact kim@scienceslam.de in advance so that we can reserve a chair for you.

The discount applies to pupils and students upon presentation of a corresponding ID.
