Scratch 2025

In the organizer's words:

Our popular concert format for everyone to sing along is starting a new round.
One of the great fascinations of gospel music is its great musical diversity and expressiveness. We are working on a colorful repertoire of well-known traditional and modern gospel songs such as "Oh Happy Day", "Joyful, Joyful", "Joshua Fit the Battle of Jericho" and "I Go to the Rock", as well as parts of Leonard Bernstein's Mass and selected pop songs. Here you have the chance to get a taste of the stage: The various songs will be rehearsed over the course of a day and performed in a concert at the Hagen Theater in the evening.We will be accompanied musically by the great soloists Janice Dixon and David Whitley. You can look forward to the Hagen gospel choir "Living Voices" and the Hagen Philharmonic Orchestra under the direction of Steffen Müller-Gabriel.
Anyone can sing along, even and especially without previous knowledge. The focus is on the community experience!
