Second Hand Dance: The Sticky Dance

The Sticky Dance is an interactive, captivating and colorful performance installation for the very youngest and their families. Three dancers move through the audience and weave a carpet of sticky tape. They invite the audience to stick, tape and groove, to see and feel sounds or to sit still, watch and listen. The audience is encouraged to explore freely and decide for themselves how to get involved, turning the rules on their head.

The Sticky Dance is a dance performance by the British company Second Hand Dance. The company develops sensual dance experiences that are accessible to all. In their works, they pursue a vision of a world in which dance, empathy, play and exploratory movement play a central role in the lives of children and adults. The company has already performed twice at the THINK BIG! Festival twice and will return to Munich in May 2025 as part of the explore dance festival #6.

Duration: approx. 2 hours, recommended stay of approx. 45 minutes, admission possible every 15 minutes. Please note that there are 6 different slots for this event.
