In the organizer's words:

How can it come to this? That thousands of men, women and children are drowning in the Mediterranean? That people in distress at sea are watched by drones and yet not rescued?

Hayan Amer, one of this evening's three actors, survived the crossing in a rubber dinghy. Zahra also tells her story in a filmed interview. They take a stand.
The "frightening masses" for some are given a face.

This documentary theater is unique in this form in Germany. Also on stage: the award-winning trombonist Conny Bauer, known for his multiphonic technique. His long tones accompany the text, commenting, corresponding, counteracting.
