Dream Pop Post-Punk

Seersucker is a four-piece band that combines dreamy soundscapes and fast-paced rhythms. With multi-layered textures and unobtrusive melodies, Seersucker create songs that transport the listener into surreal landscapes. Inspired by dream pop, post-punk and everything in between, the band's sound evokes a sense of nostalgia and familiarity. As part of the release of their first EP, the band will play a concert at the Blue Shell in Cologne on July 25, 2025.

Indie shoegaze

CASINO GARDEN was founded in 2017 by singer and guitarist Matthias Ballke (ge. Wiercinski), keyboardist Helene Ballke, bassist Oliver Kroker and drummer Alexander Alaimo Di Loro in Wuppertal. The debut album SLIDE was released in 2018 and, despite its low-budget production, was well received in the underground shoegaze scene around the globe. The American indie label Custom Made Music became aware of the Wuppertal band and released the album on cassette. The second album GET YOUR SHIT TOGETHER, which had a clear alternative rock flavor, was released the following year, also on Custom Made Music. VISIONS voted it demo of the month. During the pandemic, their third album OLIVER OLIVER followed in 2021, this time on the British indie label Shore Dive Records. The consistently positive reviews from many critics should ensure promising concerts: the shoegazersmanaged to fill the band's coffers in difficult times, especially for small bands, and bring new partners on board for the follow-up album. TRANSITION is the name of the fourth album, this time mixed by Jo Philippi (Vandermeer) and mastered by Schall und Wahn Studios. As the name suggests, the album marks a turning point in the band's history: Jonas Schoelen, who often helped out live on drums, replaced founding member Alexander Alaimo Di Loro during the work on the album and with David Burdina, Casino Garden now has a second guitarist.
